JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE - TIMBERLAKE, BEYONCE + LINKIN PARK LEAD AMAS

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, LINKIN PARK and BEYONCE KNOWLES join AMERICAN IDOL star CHRIS DAUGHTRY as the nominations leaders for this year's (07) American Music Awards. The quartet received three nominations apiece at the launch of the 35th annual ceremony on Tuesday (09Oct07). Timberlake, Linkin Park and Daughtry will compete for the Favourite Pop/Rock Album prize, while Timberlake and Knowles will fight it out for Favourite Soul/R+B Album. Country acts Tim MCGraw, Rascal Flatts and Carrie Underwood and rappers Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, T.I. and Young Jeezy all received a pair of nods each. The American Music Awards ceremony will take place in Los Angeles on 18 November (07).
