LADY CHATTERLEY - THREE FILMS LAND NINE CESAR NODS
The French movie adaptation of DH LAWRENCE's LADY CHATTERLEY'S LOVER, Oscar-nominated DAYS OF GLORY and thriller TELL NO ONE will be the toast of the Cesar Awards this year (07), after claiming nine nods apiece on Friday (19JAN07).
All three films will compete for France's top movie award, alongside DON'T WORRY I'M FINE, which will be handed out in Paris on the eve of the Oscars (24FEB07).
PRIVATE FEARS IN PUBLIC PLACES and OSS 117: CAIRO, NEST OF SPIES also scored big at the nominations announcement with eight and seven nods respectively.
Meanwhile, Oscar-nominated films BABEL, LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE and THE QUEEN will compete with BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN and Spanish film VOLVER for the Best Foreign Film prize.

I think 'Brokeback Mountain' should win best foreign film prize, it has not had
the recognition such a great film deserved.
