THE VERVE 'WON'T SPLIT'

Rockers THE VERVE have promised fans they will not be splitting for a second time.
The group first split in 1999 after they were rocked by the departure of guitarist Nick MCCabe.
Rumours the band was to split for a second time surfaced after they cancelled a string of festival appearances this summer (08).
But bassist Simon Jones has reassured fans they will stick together.
He says, "I don't think any of us would be that careless again.
"If we have a disagreement, we'll work through it. It won't be 'F**k you, f**k you, f**k you and f**k you."
