JAMES CROMWELL - THE QUEEN STAR PLEADS: 'ROYALS, STOP USING FUR'
THE QUEEN star JAMES CROMWELL is bombarding British monarch QUEEN ELIZABETH II with angry letters begging her to stop using fur.
Cromwell, who plays Elizabeth's husband PRINCE PHILIP in the acclaimed movie, is saddened by the continued use of bear fur in the hats of Her Majesty's Guards.
He's already fired off two letters to the monarch, but remains frustrated that nothing has changed.
In his second diatribe, Cromwell writes, "Regrettably, the Ministry of Defence is becoming the subject of ridicule for failing to be able to adapt to modern times and to acknowledge that bears, intelligent and sensitive animals... should not be turned into ceremonial caps."
