Actor BEN STILLER's new movie THE HEARTBREAK KID has ended RUN, FAT BOY, RUN's marathon stretch at the top of the U.K. box office charts. The commitment phobia comedy beat The Kingdom to the number one spot, with takings of $2.46 million (GBP1.23 million). The Middle East thriller enters in second place with profits of $1.84 million (GBP920,000), while Run, Fat Boy, Run falls to third with $1.44 million (GBP724,183). World War Two drama Atonement and Adam Sandler's I Now Pronounce You Chuck + Larry round out the top five in fourth and fifth place respectively.
