THE GAME - THE GAME DENIES DELAYING ALBUM FOR G-UNIT

Rapper THE GAME has slammed reports he is to delay his forthcoming album L.A.X. to allow his former group G-UNIT to release their next record without competition.
The rival artists are due to go head-to-head on 24 June (08), when The Game drops his new U.S. album on the same day as 50 Cent's G-Unit crew releases Terminate On Site.
Earlier this week (begs21Apr08), G-Unit mastermind 50 Cent cast doubt on the impending chart war when he threatened to push back The Game's L.A.X. - which is to be released on his G-Unit Records - out of spite.
The In Da Club hitmaker told MTV.com, "I'ma wait a little, then I'm just gonna push his (The Game's) album back. I don't think there's anyone that would legitimately look at him like it's a competition, him versus G-Unit.
"It just doesn't make sense. I make money every time he releases an album. He signed a five-album deal. He's only on album three."
But the Dreams hitmaker, real name Jayceon Taylor, is adamant he has no plans to delay his album for the rap crew.
A representative for The Game tells AllHipHop.com, "We have no intentions to move our album date of June 24. If we do move it, it will be 50 Cent and G-Unit's lucky day, but I doubt if The Game is into answering G-Unit's prayers."
50 Cent kicked The Game out of G-Unit in 2005 for being "disloyal" to the group.
