HENRY WINKLER - THE FONZ TO TACKLE PETER PAN VILLAIN ON THE LONDON STAGE

TV hero THE FONZ is to play the ultimate pantomime villain when actor HENRY WINKLER portrays PETER PAN's arch-enemy CAPTAIN HOOK on the London stage. The HAPPY DAYS star will replace DAVID HASSELHOFF in the New Wimbledon Theatre production, which runs from 8 December (06) to 14 January (07). A thrilled Winkler says, "I am over the moon! There will be 40 people on that stage, singing, dancing and creating great comedy... I promise you, I will be dastardly. That's for sure." Hasselhoff was forced to pull out of the production due to scheduling conflicts. The Peter Pan pantomime will also feature British comedian BOBBY DAVRO as SMEE.
