MARGARET THATCHER - THATCHER HOSPITALISED FOR TESTS

Former British Prime Minister MARGARET THATCHER is recovering at home after spending Friday night (07Mar08) in a London hospital undergoing tests. Baroness Thatcher, 82, was taken to the U.K. capital's St. Thomas' Hospital after she felt faint and nauseous and her legs started to give way during a dinner at the House Of Lords. On Saturday (08Mar08) afternoon, Thatcher waved to onlookers as she walked out of the medical centre. Her private secretary Mark Worthington says, "She's very comfortable and she had a comfortable night. She is feeling a lot better, much revived." David Cameron, the current leader of Thatcher's Conservative Party, adds, "I'm sure the entire country will join me in wishing her a full and speedy recovery."
