KIEFER SUTHERLAND - SUTHERLAND FAMILY SECRET COMES OUT IN OBITUARY

KIEFER SUTHERLAND has discovered he has a long-lost half-brother thanks to an obituary in a Montreal, Canada newspaper. Artist LOUISE SCOTT's family revealed all about the parentage of her son JOHN in a recent Montreal Gazette memorial to the Canadian, who died on 7 February (07). The obituary mentioned her son's father is "the actor DONALD SUTHERLAND" - Scott's cousin. Friends tell US tabloid the Globe that Sutherland rarely spoke of his lovechild and Scott gave her son the last name of her longtime lover FRANK O'RIORDAN. One family pal says, "It would be so great if Donald would reach out to his son John. Maybe they could develop a father-son relationship - and Kiefer could get to know the brother he's probably never seen."
