LIMP BIZKIT - SUSPENDED SENTENCE FOR BIZKIT'S DURST
Limp Bizkit singer Fred Durst has been given a 120-day jail sentence after pleading no-contest to seven charges.
The 37-year-old had been charged with a range of offences including assault, battery and reckless driving.
After escaping a jail term he will instead have to serve 20 hours of community service and pay a fine of $1,500 (£750), court documents at the US superior court reveal.
The incident at the centre of the court case took place in Los Angeles in October last year when Durst allegedly deliberately hit two people with his car.
Among the charges filed at the court hearing in Los Angeles last month were two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of reckless driving and one of making a criminal threat.
Following the sentencing Durst must stay at least 100 yards away from the unnamed victims and must not "annoy, harass, strike, threaten or otherwise disturb the peace".
