SUPER FURRY ANIMALS - SUPER FURRY ANIMALS ANNOUNCE UK TOUR

Super Furry Animals will head out on an extensive UK tour this autumn ahead of the release of their new album.

The Welsh band will release Hey Venus! on August 27th through Rough Trade records - their first release for the label.

Beginning in Dublin on October 16th, the Super Furry's tour will then call at Belfast, Liverpool, Nottingham and Newcastle.

A show at Southampton Guildhall will follow before dates at the new Carling Academy Oxford, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds and Norwich.

The tour will conclude with two shows at the London Roundhouse on November 2nd and 3rd.

Hey Venus! is the follow-up to the critically acclaimed Lovekraft, released in 2005. It will be the band's eighth studio album.

The first single to be lifted from the album will be the track Show Your Hand, released on August 13th.
