SUGABABES - SUGABABES CONFIRMED FOR BT DIGITAL MUSIC AWARDS LINE-UP

Sugababes are to open the 2008 BT Digital Music awards, it has been confirmed.

The girl trio will kick off the awards at the Roundhouse venue in north London while Mercury nominees British Sea Power - who are up for the artist of the year prize - will also perform.

Ida Maria will showcase her Scandinavian pop-punk and 19-year-old singer-songwriter Sam Beeton is also down to wow the Camden crowd on Wednesday October 1st.

Voting for the awards closes on Saturday September 27th and music fans have a chance to throw their support behind the likes of Kylie Minogue, Coldplay, Bloc Party and Radiohead in 12 of the 19 categories.

The awards will be televised on ITV2 on Saturday October 4h.
