OASIS - STREET MUSICIANS TO PERFORM OASIS' ALBUM IN THE BIG APPLE

OASIS are set to debut their latest album on the streets of New York, with the city's street musicians playing the new tracks.

Several tracks from the DIG OUT YOUR SOUL album, including THE TURNING, BAG IT UP and the new single THE SHOCK OF LIGHTNING.

The group will meet up with some buskers for a private rehearsal today (September 12th) before heading out to different parts of the Big Apple.

It is a collaboration between OASIS, New York City's marketing and tourism organisation, and the band's label Warner Bros Records.

Meanwhile, OASIS have cancelled their New York show which would have taken place tonight as a result of NOEL GALLAGHER being attacked on stage in Canada last week.

The guitarist is said to be still recuperating from a bruised hips and ribs.

As a result of the incident, the band also cancelled their last Canadian gig which was supposed to take place in Ontario.
