TOM STOPPARD - STOPPARD PLAY DOMINATES OUTER CRITICS CIRCLE AWARDS

TOM STOPPARD's trilogy THE COAST OF UTOPIA is the big winner at the 2007 Outer Critics Circle Awards, picking up six prizes including Outstanding New Broadway Play.
The Coast Of Utopia also collected Outstanding Director Of A Play for Jack O'Brien, and Outstanding Actress for Martha Plimpton, it was announced last night (13May07).
Elsewhere, Spring Awakening took home three awards including Outstanding New Broadway Musical and Outstanding New Score.
Frank Langella won Outstanding Actor In A Play for Frost/Nixon, while Eve Best won Outstanding Actress In A Play for A Moon For The Misbegotten.
The annual Outer Critics Circle Awards are voted for by members of more than 90 newspapers, magazines, and radio and TV stations.
The awards themselves will be presented at a ceremony in Sardi's Restaurant, New York City on 24 May (07).
