STING was so excited about THE POLICE's first comeback performance at the Grammy Awards last month (07) he found sleeping difficult. The EVERY BREATH YOU TAKE singer, 55, believes his nervous adrenalin was because he had always vowed never to reform the band, which split in 1984. He says, "That was unusual for me, but I was wired. The excitement was absolutely tangible. It's the thing you feel between a band and the audience. "I've kicked and screamed against this for a long time. The others were always ready and I wasn't ready. But this feels right. "It was a long time to wait but my instinct says it was the right time."
