STILLS RECOVERING WELL AFTER SURGERY

LATEST: Musician STEPHEN STILLS is recovering after undergoing surgery for cancer earlier this month - but is delighted he did not have gruelling radiation treatment. The musician was forced to undergo surgery for prostate cancer in January (08) - and is stunned he escaped any radiation therapy, which destroys cancerous cells. He says, "Most people have to have a little radiation afterwards, but I didn't." But Stills believes he has a unique way to help prevent cancer in the future - telling reporters at the Sundance Film Festival on Friday (25Jan08): "And we are, a special service to our crowds, to our audience, we're going to have the entire place radiated wherever we play so that nobody gets cancer. "It's going to be the glow-in-the-dark tour." In 2005 Stills was diagnosed with a brain aneurism.
