BEN STILLER hates attending celebrity events, because people are always surprised to see him with an attractive lady on his arm. The MEET THE FOCKERS star dated a string of Hollywood beauties including CALISTA FLOCKHART and JEANNE TRIPLEHORN before he married ZOOLANDER co-star CHRISTINE TAYLOR in 2000. But Stiller is still flummoxed by those who are shocked by his good-looking relationship history. He says, "People are always surprised I've had beautiful girlfriends. "I used to think it was because I was perceived as some kind of idiot or creep due to the roles I play. But I think it's actually because I hate going out, so nobody really knew who I was with. "If I'm in a relationship there's no reason to go out, so I don't - which is my natural state of being."
