GWEN STEFANI - STEFANI JOINS SHOE DESIGNERS TO RECREATE OZ RUBY SLIPPERS

Pop star GWEN STEFANI will join top shoe designers like MANOLO BLAHNIK, JIMMY CHOO and CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN to create ruby slippers for the upcoming 70th anniversary of THE WIZARD OF OZ.
The shoe style gurus will display their designs at the Saks Fifth Avenue department store in New York during the city's Fashion Week in September (08).
The collection will then tour the country before the shoes are auctioned off to benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation next year (09).
The magical ruby slippers transported Dorothy back home from Oz in the family film epic, which will celebrate its 70th birthday next year (09).
