JACKSON BROWNE - STARS PAY TRIBUTE TO DJ LARMAN AT MEMORIAL EVENT

JACKSON BROWNE and RICHARD THOMPSON were among the musicians who paid tribute to US radio host HOWARD LARMAN at a memorial service in Los Angeles on Tuesday (15May07) night. Rockers Loudon Wainwright III and Dave Alvin also performed at the three hour event at Immanuel Presbyterian Church. Larman, who died last month (Apr07), hosted Sunday night radio show FolkScene on KPFK-FM for more than 30 years. His son Allen has vowed with his mother to keep the show going.
