DENZEL WASHINGTON - STARS COME OUT FOR ELTON

Stars including DENZEL WASHINGTON, SIR MICHAEL CAINE, ELLE MACPHERSON, and British model ELIZABETH HURLEY all turned out to support SIR ELTON JOHN at his 10th annual White Tie and Tiara Ball.
The Rocket Man hitmaker has been hosting the event every year since 1998 to raise money for his AIDS Foundation charity, and always boasts an impressive array of celebrity guests.
And this year's (08) ball was no exception, with more than 600 people arriving at the $6,000 (GBP3,000)-a head dinner - which had a beach party theme and was decked out with palm trees, flamingos, as well as a genuine Beach Boy, Brian Wilson.
The 61-year-old hopes to raise over $12 million (GBP6 million) for good causes from the ball.
