MYA - ST. VALENTINE'S DAY HEARTBREAK INSPIRES MYA

Sexy R+B star MYA used a St. Valentine's Day break-up as inspiration for a new song, in which she slams a thoughtless ex. The singer admits Switch It Up is all about one boyfriend who stood her up on the most romantic day of 2006. Mya changed her schedule so she could be with her man for St. Valentine's Day - and then waited patiently for him to join her for a romantic night. She recalls, "I heard from him the next day with 'Yo' on the damn Sidekick (communications device), not even a phone call... So I broke up with him over the pager... I still have the message in my Sidekick." And Mya has been boyfriend-less ever since after a string of relationships gone wrong. She adds, "I don't have the tolerance level anymore."
