Veteran rocker BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN has cast a spell on the British albums chart - his new disc MAGIC has debuted at number one. Springsteen beat off competition from Katie Melua, whose Pictures is another new entry at two. Foo Fighters' Echoes, Silence, Patience + Grace and James Blunt's All The Lost Souls both fall two places to three and four respectively. Rounding out the top five is another new entry, Babyshambles sophomore album Shotters Nation. Meanwhile, Sugababes hold onto the top spot in the British singles chart for a second week with About You Now. Ida Corr Vs Fedde Le Grand jump three places to number two with Let Me Think About it, while reality TV show winner Shayne Ward drops a position to three with No U Hang Up/If That's OK With You.
