BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN - SPRINGSTEEN REMEMBERS MEDIUM

LATEST: BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN has paid tribute to the medium who inspired his song 4TH OF JULY, ASBURY PARK (SANDY).
Marie Castello, who is the 'Madame Marie' the rocker namechecks in the song, died last week (ends30Jun08).
The Dancing in the Dark star 'discovered' her telling fortunes at the Temple of Knowledge on the Asbury Park Broadwalk in New Jersey.
And Springsteen has nothing but fond memories of the mystic: "I'd sit across from her on the metal guard rail bordering the beach, and I watched as she led the day-trippers into the small back room, where she would unlock a few of the mysteries of their future.
"She always told me mine looked pretty good - she was right. Over here on E Street, we will miss her."
