BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN - SPRINGSTEEN PENS TRACK FOR THE WRESTLER

Bruce Springsteen has written a track named The Wrestler for the new film of the same name by Darren Aronofsky.
Aronofsky whose past credits include the bleak drama Requiem For A Dream and psychological thriller Pi will see the movie premiere at this weeks Venice Film Festival, reports Uncut.
The director confirmed on his blog that the new song by The Boss will play over the film's closing credits.
"Bruce Springsteen wrote a beautiful original song for the closing the film. Called THE WRESTLER it is a wonderful acoustic piece. Makes me choke up every time i hear it, " he wrote.
"He really captured the spirit of the film and Mickey [Rourke]'s character in the piece."
The Wrestler will make it debut at Venice on Friday, before going onto film festivals in Toronto and New York.
It was recently reported that Springsteen will not be performing at the Democratic National Convention, as was first thought.
