SPIDER MAN 3 - SPIDER-MAN KEEPS HIS WEB OVER UK BOX OFFICE

SPIDER-MAN 3 is continuing to spin its web over U.K. cinemagoers for a third week. The action movie, starring Tobey Maguire as the webbed hero, took GBP2.54 million ($5.08 million) in the box office last weekend (19-20May07). Horror movie 28 Weeks Later remained at second place with GBP882,692 ($1.76 million), while new entry Zodiac entered at three. Other new entries included British comedy Magicians and the long-delayed U.K. release of Amanda Bynes' Lovewrecked, which was released in Asia last summer (06).
