The SPICE GIRLS disappointed thousands of fans at a recent U.S. concert - after a technical hitch forced them to end their concert in silence. The pop stars were performing their final number, Spice Up Your Life, on Wednesday night (30Jan08) when a malfunction in their confetti display caused the sound system at the Boston, Massachusetts venue to shut down. The group continued to sing and dance despite fans not being able to hear them - and the show ended with the words "Mission Accomplished" lighting up the screen behind them.
