SPICE GIRLS - SPICE GIRLS SAVED BECKHAM FROM RAMSAY RANT

The SPICE GIRLS saved VICTORIA BECKHAM from a foul-mouthed tirade with celebrity chef GORDON RAMSAY - because they reformed and went on tour just before the singer was set to appear on his U.S. show HELL'S KITCHEN. Ramsay is good friends with the Beckhams and invited the pop star to make a guest appearance on his hit show as part of a "ladies from Beverly Hills cooking lesson" - and the fearless Wannabe singer agreed. Ramsay tells news show Access Hollywood, "She decided to tour with the Spice Girls. It was a shame because we missed each other by literally a week. "Otherwise, it would (have been) quite nice to see her attending one of the cooking classes in the kitchen with me breathing down her neck." Ramsay admits he's not sure about his pal's cooking skills, but he knows she loves her food, despite suggestions the superslim pop singer and hardly eats. He adds, "They're great foodies. Victoria eats in a very healthy manner, nothing over drizzled with olive oil, fat, cream or butter and things lightly steamed. "If you had to eat everything steamed for the next couple of months, you'd see a big difference in your weight."
