The SPICE GIRLS have hit back at reports a rift between bandmates prompted the group to cancel the rest of their world tour, branding the rumours "rubbish". The Wannabe stars announced last Friday (01Feb08) that shows in China, South Africa, Australia and Argentina would be scrapped due to "family and personal commitments". And the band - comprising of Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm and Victoria Beckham - have been quick to dismiss media speculation of in-fighting with the release of a new video to apologise to their fans. In the footage, Chisholm says, "There's been a lot of rubbish in the media over the last few days so we wanted you to hear it from the horses' mouths (ourselves). "We're very sorry we haven't been able to get to all the places (on the tour)." Beckham adds, "We have families and our kids need to go back to school," while Halliwell admits, "The tour has gone on longer than we expected." The stars then pretend to fight in the video before Brown shouts: "We hate each other? Are you kidding? We love each other!"
