PHIL SPECTOR - SPECTOR JURY REQUESTS VIDEO EVIDENCE

LATEST: The jury in the PHIL SPECTOR murder trial has asked for the judge's permission to re-watch key video evidence to help them reach a verdict. The panel has requested the videotape of the music producer's chauffeur being interviewed by police. Adriano De Souza told the court during the six-month trial that he had witnessed Spector emerging from his mansion after actress Lana Clarkson's death in February 2003, when he allegedly said: "I think I killed someone." The jury have failed to reach a decision since they began deliberating on 10 September (07), with the panel stuck in a 7-5 deadlock. Judge Larry Paul Fidler has told the panel he will not accept a lesser charge of involuntary manslaughter. Spector stands accused of murdering Clarkson in his Alhambra, California mansion in 2003. He has maintained his innocence and his lawyers claim the depressed actress shot herself either on purpose or by accident.
