MARIE OSMOND - SON CHALLENGES OSMOND OVER DIVORCE ON TV

MARIE OSMOND has been challenged on her divorce in a TV interview - by her son. The Paper Roses singer's 20-year-old, Steve, conducted a one-on-one chat with his mother for U.S. TV show Extra backstage at one of her sold-out Christmas shows recently. And when asking what made his mum happy, Steve got personal, asking Osmond what prompted her to divorce her husband of 20 years, Brian Blosil. The singer responded, "I don't believe divorce is the solution for an unhappy marriage, but I do think sometimes it's the answer. "When asked questions like, 'Am I being the best person I can be? Am I being the best mother I can be?' And in those situations, I think it's the right choice if that answers your question."
