SNOW PATROL - SNOW PATROL STAR DRUGS CHARGES DROPPED

LATEST: SNOW PATROL rocker TOM SIMPSON will not face charges for possessing cocaine, after police dropped their case against him. The keyboard player, 35, was detained by police for possession of the drug in Glasgow, Scotland on 24 June last year (06). Simpson had been due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court this week (ends28Sep07), but the Crown Prosecution Office has decided not to pursue the matter any further. A spokeswoman said proceedings were not appropriate after further information was received from Strathclyde Police.
