SNOOP DOGG - SNOOP NOT ARRESTED IN SWEDEN

LATEST: Rapper SNOOP DOGG was not arrested in Sweden yesterday (12MAR07), contrary to media reports claiming he was thrown in jail overnight. The rapper, real name CALVIN BROADUS, was stopped on suspicion of using illegal narcotics after performing at a gig in Stockholm. The 35-year-old star, who is touring Europe with one-time rival SEAN COMBS, showed signs of drug use when police pulled over his vehicle at 1.30am and they were taken to a local police station. But Snoop's representative says, "Contrary to erroneous press reports, Snoop Dogg was not arrested in Sweden. "He was questioned and released with no charges filed. He is excited to continue his successful co-headlining European tour with Diddy."
