SAMUEL L JACKSON - SNAKES ON A PLANE SUPERGROUP TO TOUR

The indie supergroup formed to record the theme to SAMUEL L JACKSON's summer movie flop SNAKES ON A PLANE are set to tour. Members of trendy underground acts THE SOUNDS, THE ACADEMY IS and MIDTOWN came together to form COBRA STARSHIP and record the movie theme SNAKES ON A PLANE earlier this year (06) - and they enjoyed working together so much, they're planning to hit the road. The supergroup, featuring Midtown frontman GABE SAPORTA and The Sounds star MAJA IVARSSON, will join the line-up of MTV2's upcoming Welcome To The Universe Tour. And prior to those dates, Cobra Starship will headline the Jerry's Kids Short Bus Tour '06, which begins tonight (14SEP06) in Buffalo, New York. The indie supergroup will also perform at the Bamboozle Left festival in Pomona, California on 15 October (06).
