THE FAMILY STONE - SLY + THE FAMILY STONE LINE UP BRITISH GIG

SLY + THE FAMILY STONE have confirmed they are to play a British concert in July (07) - only their second public appearance in more than two decades. The Family Affair band reformed to play at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles in February 2006. Frontman Sly Stone has been a recluse since the mid-1980s and hasn't released any solo work since 1987. Sly + The Family Stone's original line-up - with the exception of bassist Larry Graham - will play The Opera House in Bournemouth, England on 28 July.
