SEX PISTOLS star STEVE JONES has an unlikely ally in his far-fetched goal of becoming a knight - SIR CLIFF RICHARD. The guitarist is convinced the Queen of England will never hand out a title to a punk, let alone one who poked fun at her in the anthem God Save The Queen. But Richard, who appeared on the rocker's Jonesy's Jukebox radio show in Los Angeles earlier this week (21Mar07), thinks Jones would make a good English ambassador. He told Jones, "It wouldn't surprise me at all if you got a knighthood. I'll have a word with Her Majesty when I get back (to England)."
