FRANK SINATRA - SINATRA JR. FINDS BRAZILIAN THROUGH NEWSPAPER AD

LATEST: FRANK SINATRA's son has located the Brazilian boy the late RAT PACK star sponsored in the 1980s - after a local newspaper helped him launch a nationwide search.
Frank Sinatra Jr. took out a full-page advert in the Rio O Dia newspaper in a bid to find the now grown up male - identified as Carlos Henrique dos Santos - so he could invite him to his concert in Rio de Janeiro on Thursday (07Aug08).
Sinatra's legendary crooner father met dos Santos in 1980 when he played his own show in the Brazilian capital, after asking to see the child he had been sponsoring for $19 (GBP9.50) a month via a charity that helped kids in underdeveloped countries.
And Sinatra Jr.'s search proved successful when dos Santos came forward after seeing his photograph in the paper.
The 40-year-old security guard is keen to meet up with his hero's son, and still has all the records Sinatra gave him when they met.
He tells the publication, "I still have them, but I can't listen to them because I don't have a record player."
Frank Sinatra Jr., 64, was determined to meet dos Santos as the singer is the same age as his father was when he first met the youngster in 1980.
