FRANK SINATRA - SINATRA HONOURED WITH U.S. STAMP

Singing legend FRANK SINATRA will appear on letters across America from next week (13May08) when a new postal stamp in his honour goes on sale.
The late crooner's daughters Tina and Nancy and son Frank Sinatra Jr will attend three separate launch ceremonies; in New York, Las Vegas, and his native Hoboken, New Jersey, on Tuesday.
Post office boss Alan Kessler explains the decision to honour the star, who died in 1998, aged 82, "Frank Sinatra was our nation's first modern entertainment superstar. He had looks and charm, talent and skill, creativity, tenacity and style."
