FRANK SINATRA - SINATRA FAMILY ASK VIDEOMAKERS TO GO FLY WITH THEM

FRANK SINATRA's family are calling on budding cyberspace videomakers to turn the crooner's classic COME FLY WITH ME into a new short film. Daughter TINA SINATRA and the Sinatra estate bosses have teamed up with consumer media company YouTube to launch a new video competition that incorporates Ol' Blue Eyes, his standard hit and one of his favourite cities, Las Vegas. The Frank Sinatra Enterprises Come Fly Away With Frank Sinatra contest offers the YouTube "community" the chance to create a video using the classic hit as the theme. The project is being launched to promote the newly released SINATRA: VEGAS boxed set of previously unreleased live Las Vegas performances. Submissions for the contest begin today (21NOV06) and end on 18 December (06). The winning video will be hand-picked by the Sinatra family and the winner will be flown to Las Vegas for an all-expense paid trip of "lights, glitz and glamour". Tina Sinatra says, "Sinatra Enterprises has historically worked with film school students and young filmmakers who desired to incorporate my dad's music in their films."
