AMERICAN IDOL - SIERRA SUFFERS PREGNANCY SCARE

Former AMERICAN IDOL contestant JESSICA SIERRA is fearing for the welfare of her unborn child after she was rushed to hospital over the New Year. The 22-year-old, who spent the festive season behind bars in Florida following her arrest in December (07) after a drunken bar brawl, was taken to Brandon Regional Hospital on New Year's Eve (31Dec07) after experiencing "severe bleeding", reports TMZ.com. But the singer was given the all-clear and doctors have reassured Sierra her baby is fine, despite the pregnancy scare. Sierra is currently waiting to be released from Falkenburg Road Jail after a judge sentenced her to three years probation on Monday (07Jan08) - on the condition she completes a one-year stint in rehab to kick her cocaine habit. She will be freed from police custody once flight plans are finalised.
