LEANN RIMES - SICK RIMES PULLS OUT OF SHOWS

Tonsillitis has forced country star LeANN RIMES to scrap a pair of shows in Illinois and Minnesota.
The singer's vocal cords are inflamed, according to her manager.
A performance at Joe's Bar in Chicago on Thursday (07Aug08) was pulled and an appearance at the WE Fest in Detroit Lakes on Friday (08Aug08) has also been cancelled.
Rimes is expected to be back onstage for a 13 August (08) concert in Dallas, Texas.
