SHOWGIRLS WRITER WARNS AGAINST WRITING SEXY FILMS
SHOWGIRLS screenwriter JOE ESZTERHAS has offered up some advice to aspiring film cinema scribes - leave out the sex.
The FLASHDANCE author, who once bedded SHARON STONE, grants these words of wisdom in his memoir, THE DEVIL'S GUIDE TO HOLLYWOOD: THE SCREENWRITER AS GOD!
He says, "Don't write a script with a lot of sex. (Showgirls had a lot of sex and) was the greatest commercial and cinematic disaster
since Heaven's Gate and Ishtar."
