BROOKE SHIELDS - SHIELDS FEARS PLASTIC SURGERY

Claustrophobic actress BROOKE SHIELDS has ruled out plastic surgery because she hates the thought of being 'trapped' by fake boobs and facelift procedures. Shields is set to play a sex therapist in the new series of plastic surgery drama NIP/TUCK and has tried Botox in the past, but she insists cosmetic enhancement is not something she'd be comfortable with. She says, "I tried, like, Botox in my forehead... I got so claustrophobic. I would get claustrophobia if I had breast implants. I'd be like, 'Get them out, get them out.' My husband's very upset about that though. "It's a very foreign, man-made object in your body... I'm also attached to my face. It's been around in the public eye for so long."

Brooke's book and her 5 DVD (shortened) set of "Down Came the Rain" are
incredible. Her speaking voice is fantastic; her acting has, of course, been
improved over time. She has nothing to fear about playing a role; of all
women, she knows it's simply an acting role--and she has many acting pals
(Steven Weber and wife, among many).
Brooke, if you happen to read this--never fear! I'm a clinical psychologist
with 11 year old twins via surrogacy (first gay couple in the country to have
them, so we made all sorts of magazine headlines and such--you are welcome to a
copy of the magazine if you care to have one).
Go for it, Brooke!
My best,
Lawrence C. Barber, Ph.D. (or just Lar)
