SETH ROGEN SIGNS UP FOR NEW COMEDY

Hollywood funny man SETH ROGEN has signed up to a new comedy I'M WITH CANCER.

The KNOCKED UP and SUPER BAD star will also produce the movie, which follows the trials faced by a cancer sufferer.

Empire Magazine reports that the film was written by American TV producer Will Reiser, who was diagnosed with cancer in his mid-twenties and has based his script on largely autobiographical incidents.

Other famous names involved in the project include Rogen's writing partner EVAN GOLDBERG and BEN KARLIN.

According to the news provider, it is not yet known who Rogen will play in the film, although it suggests he will not take the lead role as he is busy with a number of other projects including the forthcoming GREEN HORNET.

Rogen's latest release PINEAPPLE EXPRESS topped the UK box office last month, taking over £1.3 million in its first week.
