THE POLICE - SEE THE POLICE SOUNDCHECK FOR THE LAST TIME

THE POLICE are giving fans access to their final soundcheck - for a price.
The reunited rock trio will perform a final concert at New York's Madison Square Garden on 7 August (08) to benefit public television stations in the Big Apple - and now Sting and his bandmates are auctioning off packages and keepsakes for charity.
The highlight of the sale is a VIP package for two, which includes the chance to check out the soundcheck before the show and meet The Police.
Other items include a complete set of signed instruments, packages to meet and greet the trio's support act The B-52s and limited edition last concert souvenirs.
The items, which also include the drumkit Stewart Copeland played when The Police kicked off their reunion at the 2007 Grammy Awards, will go under the hammer during two separate online eBay.com auctions.
The first begins on 14 July (08) and ends 10 days later; the second begins on 4 August (08).
All proceeds from the auctions will benefit New York Public Television networks Thirteen/WNET and WLIW21.
