AMERICAN IDOL - SEACREST: 'BRITNEY SHOULD STAY OUT OF THE SPOTLIGHT'

AMERICAN IDOL host RYAN SEACREST has urged BRITNEY SPEARS to stay out of the public eye while she deals with her personal problems. Spears has been in the headlines for various reasons this year (07), including her stint in rehab, her divorce from dancer Kevin Federline and their subsequent custody battle over their two sons. But the radio DJ/TV presenter insists Spears should spend more time at home and avoid courting the media during her personal crises. He says, "I don't understand her constantly being in front of the cameras. "There will be days when she goes shopping or when she goes out in the midst of all this and I sort of thing she shouldn't."
