JILL SCOTT - SCOTT ENGAGED TO DRUMMER

R+B star JILL SCOTT has announced her engagement to her drummer boyfriend JON ROBERTS.
The delighted singer chose to reveal the good news during a show at New York's Carnegie Hall on Saturday (21Jun08).
Halfway through her set, Roberts - who drums in her band - presented her with a large bouquet of flowers and a kiss. Scott then turned to the crowd and announced their wedding plans - and the news was met with wild cheers and applause from the audience.
Scott divorced her husband of five years, DJ Lyzel Williams, last year (07).
