AMERICAN IDOL - SCOTT + DAUGHTRY PLAN MOVIE TUNE

SALIVA frontman JOSEY SCOTT and AMERICAN IDOL favourite CHRIS DAUGHTRY are hoping to become the next RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN after setting their sights on movie tunes. The rockers plan to team up in April (07) to co-write a song for an upcoming soundtrack. Scott tells MTV News, "We're really good friends and we thought it would be fun to do. Ever since he became famous, we've been talking on the phone. "We're both Southern boys and he worked with my producer, BOB MARLETTE, on his new record. Bob gave him my number one day, and he called me out of the blue and we totally hit it off."
