MARTIN SCORSESE - SCORSESE RETEAMS WITH OSCAR PARTNER AND JAGGER

Just days after picking up his first Best Director Oscar for THE DEPARTED, MARTIN SCORSESE is reteaming with the film's writer WILLIAM MONAHAN for his next project. The pair will be developing THE LONG PLAY, a rock 'n' roll epic that also reunites Scorsese with SIR MICK JAGGER and his company Jagged Films, who will produce the project. Scorsese directed Jagger and his ROLLING STONES bandmates in a feature documentary last year (06) and is planning to release the documentary later this year (07). The film, which is based on an idea from Jagger, follows two friends through 40 years in the music business, from the early days of R+B to contemporary hip-hop.
