DAVID SCHWIMMER - SCHWIMMER TURNS HIS BACK ON ACTING

DAVID SCHWIMMER has decided to turn his back on acting and focus his attention on his directing career.
Following the success of his latest directorial effort RUN FAT BOY RUN former FRIENDS star Schwimmer has an expressed a desire to launch a full-time career behind the camera encouraged by actor SIMON PEGG.
It is thought that Pegg, who wrote and starred in RUN FAT BOY RUN, has encouraged David to pursue more projects after the success of their collaboration.
Speaking about his latest project to the Mirror, David said: "I really didn't think about acting in it - I just want to focus all my energy on one thing, directing."
A source added that David made enough money from the success of FRIENDS and is now keen to devote himself to direction.
"Fatboy's success reaffirmed his decision," they concluded.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview with MTV, Schwimmer revealed that the actors he would most like to direct are Oscar winners TOM HANKS and PHILLIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN.
He added that he is hoping to tackle a more serious movie after focusing on comedy for so long.
