CLAUDIA SCHIFFER - SCHIFFER MOURNS THE LOSS OF HER FATHER

Supermodel CLAUDIA SCHIFFER is in mourning after her father, HEINRICH, died of a heart attack in France. He was 70. The retired lawyer collapsed on a golf course on Tuesday (24Jul07) in the city of Bitche, near the German-French border, where he had been enjoying a round of golf with friends when he suffered the heart attack. His family are arranging to have the body flown back to their native Germany, where they will hold a private funeral to pay their respects. Schiffer Snr is survived by his wife Gudrun and their four children: Stefan, Andreas, Claudia and Ann Carolin. Claudia Schiffer, who lives in London with her film producer husband Matthew Vaughn and their two children - son Casper, four, and two-year-old Clementine - is expected to arrive in France on Thursday (26Jul07).
